Our children’s party packages start from £145 for our 1-hour Party Starter package, £225 for our 2-hour Total Mayhem package (our most popular!), and £295 for our Ultimate Mayhem DJ & Disco package.

Everything’s included – no hidden extras or surprise travel charges! We cover Preston, Blackpool, Chorley and most of Lancashire within our standard price. You get games, dancing, magic show, prizes, and entertainment all included.

Our parties work brilliantly for ages 3-11, with 4-8 being the absolute sweet spot! We’ve perfected our format over 500+ parties to know exactly what works.

The little ones (3-5) love the magic and simple games, while older kids (8-11) get competitive with our team challenges and disco elements. We adjust our energy and game complexity to match your group.

Even teenagers can’t resist joining in with the Cha Cha Slide! Every child leaves happy, regardless of age.

We recommend booking 4-6 weeks ahead, especially for Saturdays! Weekends fill up fast, particularly during peak birthday season (March-July and September-November).

We’re already taking bookings 2-3 months ahead for popular dates. That said, we sometimes get last-minute availability due to cancellations, so it’s always worth checking. Weekday parties and Sundays are usually easier to book at shorter notice.

Our Total Mayhem 2-hour package is perfectly structured: First hour includes arrival games, traditional favorites (musical chairs, sleeping lions), holiday park dances (Superman, Cha Cha Slide), both pass the parcels, and games like human hungry hippos.

Then our famous CONGA TRAIN to the food table – kids choose the destination! After a 15-minute food break (we lead Happy Birthday for perfect photos), it’s our 30-minute comedy magic show with the birthday child as star, followed by musical chairs and limbo finale.

Non-stop fun from start to finish!

We mix absolute classics with modern favorites! Traditional games include musical chairs, sleeping lions, musical statues, corners, and the animal game.

Then we add the fun stuff kids haven’t seen before – human hungry hippos (hilarious!), space hopper racing, go fetch competitions. Plus all the holiday park dances – Superman with floor moves, Cha Cha Slide, Big Fish Little Fish. We include limbo, team challenges, and yes… Baby Shark if requested!

With 15+ different games, variety keeps everyone engaged throughout.

We bring 30-40 prizes throughout the party – mix of sweets (Haribos usually), medals for races, and bouncy balls that kids are obsessed with!

Every child wins something. Both pass the parcels are already wrapped with prizes in EVERY layer (no tears on our watch!). The birthday child gets a special magic wand and certificate to keep.

We don’t provide take-home party bags as most parents prefer to personalize these, but between games and pass the parcels, every child leaves with prizes!

We’ve worked in everything from tiny living rooms to massive halls! Ideally, we need about 3m x 4m for the magic show and enough room for kids to sit and play games.

But honestly, we adapt to ANY space – we’ve literally moved sofas in Blackpool flats! Human hungry hippos works in corridors, believe it or not.

Our professional PA system works anywhere. Gardens, kitchens, church halls, sports centers – we make it work. Don’t let space worries stop you booking!

Absolutely! We’re fully DBS (formerly CRB) checked and carry comprehensive public liability insurance. This isn’t just paperwork – it’s your peace of mind.

We’re professionals who’ve been doing this for years, not someone’s uncle with a magic set! All our documentation is up to date and available to view.

We’re also registered as a proper business, not cash-in-hand amateurs. When you book Music & Mayhem, you’re booking reliability, safety, and professionalism.

Of course! We’re experts at reading the room. We’ve had birthday kids hide behind mum’s legs for the first hour – no pressure whatsoever!

Usually they warm up during our conga train (it’s hard to resist!). If your child doesn’t want to be magic assistant, we’ll pick a confident friend, or they can help while staying next to you.

By the end, we often find the shy ones leading the limbo! We’ve been doing this for years – we know how to include everyone at their comfort level.

Parents can actually RELAX at our parties! Grab a cuppa and watch your kids have fun.

We’re completely self-sufficient and manage everything – from crowd control to shy children to over-excited birthday kids. We’ve handled groups of 30+ kids on our own hundreds of times.

Most parents love being able to actually enjoy their child’s party instead of running around stressed! Of course, you’re welcome to join in the dancing – some parents can’t resist the Cha Cha Slide!

In 500+ parties, we’ve NEVER let anyone down, but we understand the worry! If illness strikes (we’re human too!), we have backup entertainers ready.

For genuine emergencies, we’ll move heaven and earth to reschedule or find a replacement. If we absolutely can’t make it (never happened yet!), you get a full refund immediately.

Most importantly, we communicate – no ghosting or last-minute texts. We confirm 5 days before and text when leaving for your party. Your child’s day is too important to mess up.

Simple – we actually show up, and we’re actually good! We’re £225 because we’re professionals with proper insurance, quality equipment, and 500+ successful parties behind us. Cheaper entertainers might save you £50 but risk ruining your child’s special day. We’ve rescued many parties where the “bargain” entertainer cancelled last minute.
