Another Cracking Week – Quizzes, Kids’ Parties, a 50th and a Christening!
What a week! Three quiz nights, two 5th birthdays at the same venue chain, a Year 6 leavers’ do, a 50th birthday DJ set, a christening, an awards party and a Motown Night to finish it all off. Here’s how it went.
Our Weekly Quiz Nights
Tuesday: The Station, Morecambe
Dan’s Speed Quiz at The Station in Morecambe. Fast, competitive, same brilliant regulars.
Wednesday: Birley Arms, Warton
Georgina’s pen and paper quiz at The Birley Arms in Warton. Packed as always.
Thursday: The Ship, Freckleton
Dan’s weekly speed quiz at The Ship in Freckleton. Always busy!
Friday: Kids’ Parties and a 50th to Remember!
Reggie and Riley – Lightning Club
Friday afternoon, Dan was at the Lightning Club for Reggie and Riley’s party. Great crowd, great energy, exactly what we love about Fridays.
Year 6 Leavers’ Party – Fylde Rugby Club, Lytham
Georgina headed to Fylde Rugby Club in Lytham for a Year 6 Leavers’ Party. Bittersweet ones, these – a class of kids about to head off to secondary school, all buzzing and ready to let loose one last time before the summer. Music, games and dancing all round.
Claire’s 50th Birthday – Stanley Ward Conservative Club, Blackpool
Friday night, Dan was DJing Claire’s 50th Birthday at Stanley Ward Conservative Club in Blackpool. Big milestone birthdays call for a proper playlist and this one delivered – the dance floor was buzzing all night.
Saturday: Two Parties, One Christening!
River’s 5th Birthday – Catterall Village Hall, Garstang
Saturday, Dan was at Catterall Village Hall in Garstang for River’s 5th Birthday. Five-year-olds bring the energy and River’s mates were no exception – games, dancing and brilliant fun from start to finish.
Christening – St John with St Mark Church Hall, Bury
Meanwhile, George was flying solo over in Bury for a christening at St John with St Mark Church Hall. Always lovely to be part of these – a proper family occasion.
Sofia’s 5th Birthday – Lightning Club, Freckleton
Dan was straight back out to the Lightning Club, this time in Freckleton, for Sofia’s 5th Birthday. Two Lightning Club parties in one weekend – we do love that venue!
Sunday: Awards Party and a Motown Night!
Premier Drama Academy Awards Party – Broughton and District Club
Sunday was our annual favourite – the Premier Drama Academy Awards Party at Broughton and District Club. Four hours of games, music and dancing, capped off with awards for all the brilliantly talented kids. We look forward to this one every single year.
Motown Night – Preston
Sunday night, Dan finished the week in style with a Motown Night in Preston. Soul classics, a packed dance floor and everyone singing every word – the perfect way to close out a busy week.
