A Bumper Quiz Week, Music Bingo and Four 5th Birthdays!
What a week! Three quiz nights, one of them an absolute record-breaker, Friday music bingo at The Hospital Inn, then four 5th birthday parties spread right across Lancashire over the weekend. From Morecambe to Fleetwood via Burnley, we were all over the place. Here’s how it all went.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: Quiz Nights (And 32 Teams!)
Tuesday it was Dan’s usual quiz at The Station in Morecambe – same brilliant regulars, same competitive spirit as always.
Wednesday, Georgina was hosting her quiz at The Birley Arms in Warton, packed as always with regulars battling it out over the trickiest rounds.
Then Thursday absolutely smashed it – 32 teams came down for the quiz at The Birley Arms in Freckleton! Biggest turnout we’ve had in a long time. Thank you to everyone who came down and made it such a great night.
Friday: Music Bingo at The Hospital Inn, Bamber Bridge
Friday night Dan was back at The Hospital Inn in Bamber Bridge for music bingo. Great crowd as always, everyone singing along and racing each other to shout “house” first.
Saturday: Two 5th Birthdays, Two Different Towns!
Evie’s 5th Birthday – Higher Walton Community Centre, Preston
Saturday started with Evie’s 5th Birthday Party at Higher Walton Community Centre in Preston. 24 kids and every single one of them engaged and having a ball from start to finish. As always, the giant conga line to the dinner table was the highlight – they absolutely love that bit!
Josh’s 5th Birthday – Belmont Grove Social Club, Burnley
Straight from Preston it was off to Burnley for Josh’s 5th Birthday Party at Belmont Grove Social Club. The kids laughed their heads off at the magic show, and Josh made a brilliant assistant – he couldn’t stop giggling the whole way through. The pinata was an absolute smash too, quite literally – it wouldn’t budge for the kids so we had to get an adult in to break it open, and once it went the kids went wild for the sweets!
Sunday: Superheroes in Action and a Trip to Fleetwood!
Ryan’s 5th Birthday – Superhero Themed
Sunday it was Ryan’s 5th Birthday, superhero themed, and we even had a surprise visit from Scooby Doo! We played Superhero Corner, and Ryan was straight up on stage as my magic assistant, loving every second of it. A proper superhero celebration for a five-year-old.
Georgia’s 5th Birthday – Fleetwood
Meanwhile Georgina was out on her own in Fleetwood for Georgia’s 5th Birthday Party, rounding off another busy weekend for Team Music & Mayhem.
