From Inskip to Wigan, Poulton to Lytham – Our Busiest Week Yet!
What an absolutely incredible week it’s been for Music & Mayhem! Christmas music bingo for young people, FOUR kids’ Christmas parties on Saturday, breakfast with Santa, a brand new karaoke launch, and Santa appearing at multiple venues – this was our busiest week of December! Here’s our festive roundup from last week.
📅 Last Week’s Festive Events:
Monday: Christmas Music Bingo in Inskip 🎵🎯
Monday night kicked off with Crazy Christmas Music Bingo for YIP (Young Inskip People) in the lovely village of Inskip! 5 games, a proper riot of festive fun, and loads of prizes! The young people had an absolute blast – Christmas tunes, bingo madness, and brilliant community spirit! 🎄
Tuesday: Sam’s Place Annual Christmas Party 🎅✨
Tuesday evening brought the annual Christmas young people’s party for Sam’s Place at Highfurlong School in Poulton! What a special event this is every year. Games, music, dancing, prizes, and a very special visit from Santa! The energy and joy in that room was absolutely magical. Events like this remind us exactly why we do what we do! 💙
Wednesday & Thursday: Quiz Nights 🧠
Wednesday saw George hosting her weekly quiz night at The Birley Arms in Warton – another packed house!
Thursday brought Dan’s quiz at The Birley Arms as well – festive questions, competitive teams, and plenty of Christmas cheer! Our weekly quiz nights continue to be community favourites!
🎄 Friday: Bell & Bottle Christmas Madness!
Afternoon: 60 Hyper Kids! 🎉
Friday afternoon was absolutely bonkers (in the best way!) at The Bell and Bottle’s kids’ Christmas party – 60 hyper-excited children ready for festive fun! Magic, games, dancing, prizes, and loads of laughter. Then Santa made a special appearance to the delight of everyone! Sixty kids and Santa in one room? That’s proper Christmas magic! 🎅
Evening: Monthly Retro Night 🎵
Friday evening, Dan hosted his monthly Retro DJ night at The Clifton Arms in Warton – featuring 70s, 80s, and 90s classics! The dancefloor was packed with people reliving their youth. From disco fever to power ballads and 90s bangers – what a brilliant way to kick off the weekend!
🎅 Saturday: FOUR Christmas Parties – Team Effort!
Saturday was absolutely phenomenal – FOUR kids’ Christmas parties across the region! We split up to cover them all!
George: Archie’s 5th Birthday in Rishton 🎂
George headed to Rishton Cricket Club for Archie’s 5th birthday party! Archie and all his friends had a brilliant time. Five-year-olds bring such infectious energy to parties – games, music, dancing, and loads of birthday fun with a Christmas twist!
Dan: The Albion Christmas Party, Bispham 🎄
Dan was at The Albion in Bispham for their kids’ Christmas party – and yes, Santa appeared there too! Packed venue, excited children, festive games, and Christmas magic all round!
Dan: Ribchester Sports & Social Club 🎅
Then Dan dashed to Ribchester Sports and Social Club for – you guessed it – another kids’ Christmas party! Non-stop entertainment, festive fun, and more happy faces. The energy never dropped!
Dan: Rarity School of Dance Annual Party ✨
Finally, Dan headed to Rarity School of Dance’s annual Christmas kids’ party at Ansdell Institute in Lytham St Annes! Dance schools know how to party, and this was no exception. Music, games, dancing (of course!), and brilliant Christmas celebration!
Four parties in one day? That’s what December looks like for Music & Mayhem! 💪
☕ Sunday: Another Action-Packed Day!
Breakfast with Santa in Farnworth 🎅
Sunday morning kicked off with Breakfast with Santa at The Dog and Partridge in Farnworth! Families enjoying breakfast together, children meeting Santa, receiving quality wrapped gifts, and creating Christmas memories. These breakfast events have become such a special tradition!
Bryn Community Club, Wigan 🎄
Then Dan headed to Bryn Community Club in Wigan for another kids’ Christmas party! The festive fun continued with games, music, dancing, and loads of Christmas cheer across the Greater Manchester border!
BRAND NEW: Karaoke at Kirkham Conservative Club 🎤✨
Sunday evening brought something exciting – Dan hosted a brand new karaoke night at Kirkham Conservative Club! The debut night was brilliant – singing, laughter, and a fantastic crowd. This is definitely becoming a regular event!

Sam’s Place Annual Christmas Party – Events like this are at the heart of what we do. Bringing joy to young people through Sam’s Place is always a highlight of our December. The smiles, the laughter, the magic of Santa’s visit – these are memories that matter! 💙
60 Kids at The Bell and Bottle – Sixty excited children AND Santa? That takes serious experience, energy, and professional equipment to pull off! But when you see sixty happy faces, it’s all worth it!
Four Parties on Saturday – We literally split up to cover four different Christmas parties! George at Rishton Cricket Club, Dan bouncing between The Albion in Bispham, Ribchester Sports and Social Club, and Rarity School of Dance in Lytham St Annes. That’s dedication to making sure every child has a magical Christmas party!
Brand New Karaoke Launch – Starting a new regular event is always exciting, and Kirkham Conservative Club welcomed us with open arms! Another venue, another community, another place to spread the fun!
