Another Busy Week Across Lancashire
Blimey, what a week! From our regular quiz nights and another rammed music bingo session to five birthday parties across Lytham, Leyland, Poulton, and Preston – we barely stopped for breath. Here’s how the week went.
Our Weekly Quiz Nights
Wednesday: Quiz Night at Warton
Georgina hosted her weekly quiz at The Birley Arms in Warton. Another packed house – the Wednesday night crowd never lets us down.
Thursday: Speed Quiz at The Ship
Dan was back at The Ship Inn in Freckleton for his Thursday speed quiz. The teams were on it as usual – competitive bunch!
Friday Night: Music Bingo at The Hob Inn
Friday night at The Hob Inn in Bamber Bridge was absolutely rammed again. Every table full, brilliant atmosphere, and another fab night all round.
These twice-monthly music bingo sessions are really taking off – if you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out!
Saturday’s Triple Party Day
Bobby’s 5th Birthday at Lytham Institute
Saturday morning kicked off with Bobby’s 5th birthday at Lytham Institute. Great venue with plenty of space, which you need for a room full of excited 5-year-olds!
Musical chairs got competitive straight away, limbo had everyone in fits of laughter, and Human Hungry Hippos was the usual brilliant chaos. Bobby loved the magic show and was a great little assistant.
We did party dances, Go Fetch game, handed out medals, sweets and bouncy balls, and finished with our conga line to the food table. Bobby had a brilliant time.
Lucian’s 5th Birthday at St Mary’s Community Centre, Leyland
Straight from Bobby’s party we headed to St Mary’s Community Centre in Leyland for Lucian’s 5th birthday.
Musical chairs, limbo, musical statues – all the classics. The magic show went down well and Lucian loved being involved. We did balloon modelling which the kids were made up with, and the party dances got everyone moving.
Medals and sweets all round, then the usual conga to finish. Lucian and his mates had a great time.
Ophelia’s 3rd Birthday in Poulton – Circus Themed!
After Leyland, it was off to Poulton for Ophelia’s 3rd birthday – circus themed which was lovely!
Three-year-olds need a different approach – we kept it gentle and fun. Musical statues, gentle limbo, party dances, and our magic show adapted for the little ones. Ophelia’s eyes were like saucers!
Balloon modelling went down a treat with this age group – they were so proud of their creations. Everyone got medals and we had a nice gentle conga to the food. Ophelia was absolutely beaming throughout.
Saturday Night: Karaoke at Birley Arms
Saturday night we were back at the Birley Arms in Warton for karaoke. Packed out as usual, some great singers, and a brilliant atmosphere all night.
Sunday’s Parties
Rudy’s 1st Birthday at St Annes Cricket Club
Sunday started with Rudy’s 1st birthday at St Annes Cricket Club. First birthdays are always special – you’ve got the birthday baby, older siblings, and lots of little ones all needing different things!
We kept the entertainment perfect for mixed ages – bubbles, gentle music, some soft play activities, and our magic show toned down for the youngest audience. Rudy was adorable throughout. Lovely celebration.
Misam’s 6th Birthday in Preston
After Rudy’s party, we headed to Preston for Misam’s 6th birthday. Six-year-olds have serious energy and this lot didn’t disappoint!
Musical chairs got competitive, limbo had some impressive moves, relay races got everyone involved. The Go Fetch game was hilarious as always. Misam was a brilliant magic assistant during the show.
Party dances, medals, sweets, bouncy balls, and the usual conga line to finish. Misam’s parents were really pleased – job done!
Sunday Night: Quiz at The Bell and Bottle
Finished the weekend with our weekly Sunday night quiz at The Bell and Bottle in Kirkham. Week two and the numbers are growing nicely.
The pen and paper format with Open the Box and Play Your Cards Right is going down well. Good crowd, good atmosphere, competitive quiz.

Another Busy Week Done
From Lytham to Preston, Leyland to Poulton – we covered a lot of ground this week! Five birthday parties from 1st birthdays to 6th birthdays, circus themes to classic parties, plus all our regular quiz and music bingo nights.
We love what we do and we’re lucky to work across so many great venues in Lancashire.
